Redmi S2 / Y2 EDL Test Point SMZ Solution

🔧 Steps & Info (Redmi S2 / Y2 EDL Test Point):

1. Power off the device completely (if possible, disconnect battery once).

2. Remove the back cover & battery shield carefully.

3. Locate the two EDL test points on the main board (near the battery connector).

4. Short these two points with tweezers or a conductive tool.

5. While shorting, connect the USB cable to your PC.

6. The phone should now appear in Device Manager as "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008".

7. Once detected, use Mi Flash Tool or QFIL to flash stock firmware.

📍 Redmi S2 / Y2 Test Point Location:

• The test points are usually next to the battery connector, small golden pads side by side.

• On this model, they are just beside the SIM slot area under the shield.
